Ministry can be complex.

Personal finances don't  have to be.

Gain Control of Your Finances

Numerous studies show that personal finance is 80% behavior and 20% the rest.

Meaning, it's not about what you do or don't have, but how you manage what you do have.

As a former project manager turned  pastor, I understand the stereotype of those in ministry.

But the truth is, the stereotype doesn't have to be true.

About Me

Today, I'm a pastor just outside Raleigh, North Carolina - but life hasn't always been that way.

After spending eight years in corporate, in 2018 I entered into ministry as a Church Planting Resident to later plant our congregation in January of 2020.

Initially, I bought into the stereotype of pastoral ministry - believing that I'd never see another dime...that I wouldn't be able to pay for unexpected expenses, go on vacations, buy a future car, save for retirement, or have control over my financial situation.

Until I realized, the stereotype didn't have to true for me - and it doesn't have to be true for you.

Testimonials

I've been in the vocational ministry for 15 years and David has been, by far, the most helpful and passionate consultant I've ever had the privilege of working with when it comes to ministry and finances. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his assessments of each person's individual circumstances and personal financial goals. He's my number one trusted source for ministry related financial questions and the first person I point any friends to with questions in this area. David is personable, kind, a great listener and, best of all, wants you to be financially successful so that you can make much of Jesus and care for your family well. I could not recommend using him more!

- Jordan Penley, Founding & Lead Pastor, Kings Table Church

David is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of personal finance and combines that with a very practical and understandable approach to help you better manage your money. If you are even remotely interested in improving your and your family's financial situation, you'll be glad you connected with David. I highly recommend his services.

- Dylan Dodson, Founding & Lead Pastor, New City Church

David and I met for a 30-minute consultation to discuss how to steward my personal finances in the healthiest way possible. He took the time to listen to my financial history, he asked strategic questions, and gave me practical and helpful feedback. For a brief consultation, I left with a wealth of knowledge and a good plan for steps that I could make on my own. I'm extremely thankful for David's willingness to speak with me and for his expertise.
